Wedding FAQs

What’s my investment for creative wedding photography?

We offer wedding photography services for intimate elopements, half-day coverage and full-day coverage. We have a 4 hour minimum, with collections beginning at $2,000.

Most clients invest an average of $4,500-$15,000 for full-day wedding photography coverage and their custom heirloom albums and gifts.

What types of weddings do you love to photograph?

We don’t discriminate, we believe in documenting weddings and other important events without prejudice! We love weddings that are full of personality, true and authentic to our couples, honoring their creative and fun personalities.

Our ideal clients are focused on marrying their best friend, their soul mate and sharing memories with their closest friends and family. They simply want to be themselves and tell their stories in a meaningful way.

We make sure to document each piece in a way that honors who they are and guarantees their story will live on long past the wedding day.

We shoot big weddings, intimate elopements, and everything in between.

What is your style of wedding photography?

Our style of wedding photography is photojournalistic and candid. It’s filled with laughter, is lots of fun and full of those in-between moments. We love surprising our clients with images they had no idea we even captured (…because we’re so sneaky ;)

We love to shoot wide to capture the environment which gives our work a fine art feel (these are the types of images our clients love to print as canvas and create gorgeous wall art collections in their homes). While we’re also very detail-oriented, guaranteeing we document every detail that tells your love story.

We’re planning a destination wedding outside of California, do you travel?

Yes, we most certainly do! We will travel anywhere in the world to document your wedding day, our passports and creative mind are ready to go on an adventure with you!

Client is responsible for reimbursing all travel related expenses.

Are you LGBT friendly?

HELL YES!! We are outspoken advocates of marriage equality for everyone and anyone and we are more than happy to work with all loving couples and families to tell their story.

We’d also be more than happy to refer our clients to our favorite wedding professionals who are also LGBT friendly because we understand how challenging they can be to find.

Do we need an engagement session?

We do recommend that our wedding clients enjoy an engagement session with us before the wedding for a few reasons.

First, it’s a great way to enjoy a casual non-wedding photoshoot at a location that’s meaningful to you (where you met, where your first date was, at a location you frequent on the weekends – the possibilities are endless!) all the while giving us an opportunity to tell another layer of your love story.

Second, it’s the best way for us to bond and get to know each other ahead of time.

And third, we have also found that everyone feels much more comfortable in front of the camera with the extra practice.

How far in advance should I book my wedding?

It’s never too early (or too late) to ask, but s minimum of 1-2 years is recommended, reaching out as soon as you have chosen your wedding date and booked your venue is best.

Do you offer fine art products, custom design services & digital file packages?

Yes, in order to provide our clients with the most complete full service we offer a range of customized photography design services and products including fine art heirloom albums, fine art wall displays (home delivery and installation can be arranged) and digital file packages.

Do we need a second photographer?

We add our second photographer to collections/weddings with guest lists over 50. Photographing our couples on their wedding day is our main priority as the primary photographer, we need to have as much time with you as possible. Our second photographer documents and capture all of the details, snap shots of your guests, while also providing a second perspective during those times of the day we will shoot simultaneously (ceremony and reception most commonly).
